Christian Graf Brockdorff of BBL appointed preliminary insolvency administrator of Nowotnik Transport- und Handelsgesellschaft mbH and Straßen-und Tiefbau Welzow GmbH

Welzow, 26 March 2019: By order of the district court in Cottbus dated 25 March 2018, preliminary insolvency proceedings were opened concerning the assets of Nowotnik Transport- und Handelsgesellschaft mbH and the assets of Straßen- und Tiefbau Welzow GmbH with its registered office in Welzow. The trading and transport company works almost exclusively for the construction company and maintains, amongst other things, its equipment: Both companies are part of the Aronco Group. The Potsdam based lawyer Christian Graf Brockdorff of the law firm BBL Bernsau Brockdorff has been appointed preliminary insolvency administrator for both companies.
The initial aim is to stabilise the business operations of both companies and to restructure them by means of insolvency plan proceedings. „Based on the positive order situation of both companies, the continuation of business operations in the coming months is ensured“, states Christian Graf Brockdorff. All orders will be completed as contractually agreed. The wages and salaries of the employees are covered by the so-called insolvency money for the months of March, April and May 2019.
The two companies together employ approximately 70 staff in Welzow. The aim of the insolvency administrator and his team is to preserve the site in Welzow and safeguard the jobs of the employees permanently.
