For almost 20 years Birgit has been advising on general corporate law matters such as corporate reorganizations, carve outs und shareholder disputes. She has specialised in corporate restructurings and distressed situations, amongst them M&A and VC-projects. Birgit is an expert in liability topics potentially affecting shareholders and creditors in distressed situations. She has worked for more than sixteen years as a Senior Counsel in the legal department of one of Germany’s largest technology conglomerates. She draws on a broad international experience in dealing with customers and suppliers in a restructuring and insolvency context.
